Major General Aviv Kochavi told INSS that For the first time in many years, Israel is almost completely surrounded by threats. These are not merely potential threats, but rather threats posed by an active enemy.”

As he discussed upgraded capabilities in the airforce and the navy, Maj. Gen. Kochavi focused on Israel’s tremendous strides in intelligence. “We are upgrading our units in order to obtain intelligence through greater means,” he said. “We are obtaining better-processed and more diverse intelligence from more sources, and we are providing it to our fighters.”

Maj. Gen. Kochavi added that the cyber world offered a great opportunity for Israel’s growth, but the threat of cyber warfare is growing significantly and there have been many attacks on the security establishment.

  1. I guess Hizballa and other Israeli enemies don't really care about killing their own brothers and sisters (the arab Israeli citizens and not citizens) Makes you realize that they really want power at any price. Makes the 'peace talks' redundant. Thanks Mr. Obama

  2. A new situation requires a new approach by Israel. When the threats are identified i.e. Hezbollah and others the IDF make accurate targets so as to wipe out any attempt to make a surprise attack on Israel. As soon as verbal threats are followed up by certain material movements IDF should respond by wiping out the enemy with severe force.

  3. Asaph is identified with twelve Psalms and is said to be the son of Berechiah Asaph was one of the three Levites commissioned by David to be in charge of singing in the house of Yahweh. And is said to have later performed at the dedication of Solomon’s temple
He also wrote Psalm 83 which every modern day enemy of Israel would be very wise to read…. And very foolish to ignore
