Jewish Kindergarten Children Attacked in Antwerp

Young Jewish kindergarten children traveling on the bus Sunday afternoon from the Antwerp Hayder school on their bus were attacked Sunday by a gang of Muslim teenagers, according to Jewish media in Belgium.

According to a security source quoted by the Coordination Forum for Countering Antisemitism (CFCA), the children were returning from a swimming pool at the time of the attack. The driver stopped the bus and realized that the Muslim attackers were youths who lived near the swimming pool.

The gang surrounded the bus and started hurling rocks at the vehicle and its small passengers, according to the report. None of the children, about five years old and members of the Orthodox Jewish community, were physically injured in the attack.

Police opened an investigation after the teacher filed a complaint. Security personnel arrived at the scene and collected surveillance footage from the area in order to identify the attackers. No arrests have been made thus far.

Just a few weeks ago, four people were killed in a terrorist attack on the Jewish Museum in Brussels. Belgian officials have yet to decide if they will assist the museum with upgraded security for the facility in the wake of the attack.

  1. Belgium is known to be a hot bed of anti-semitism. Nothing will be done by the police a rerun of ww2

  2. Dear Lord Thank you for keeping and watching over those young children and keeping them safe. Amen.

  3. Bnei Yisrael in Europe: GET.OUT. NOW!

  4. Europe for the Muslims . Israel for the Jews . Time to come home .

  5. I beg you leave Europe for your families sake. I am really worried for you.

  7. Neal Amsel says:

    so is France any other?

  8. I am American and live in an area of northern NJ that is home to a large number of Modern Orthodox and secular Jews (the Teaneck Englewood Area). My forefathers came to the US due to pogroms and forced conscription. I am one of the lucky ones. I say one thing to European Jews. Run for your lives. Go to Israel – the only haven for Jews to escape anti-Semitism. If you don't care to go to Israel, apply to immigrate to the US or Canada. As much as I respect the Lubovitch, I disagree with them on an important point – there is no future for European Jewry. Nostalgia is not a sufficient reason for Jews to stay in Muslim dominated Europe. Every Jewish life is valuable and preservation of Jewish life is more important than reestablishing what is dead – a Europe with Jews.

  9. Ronny Mol says:

I do NOT understand Beligum Jewsish leaders. Are you waiting for blood on your hands? Start selling off Jewish communal property to help Jews make aliyah. One thing you should of learned from the Shoah, waiting and doing nothing got Jews killed.

  10. Leave Europe. If there was camera coverage of the area as stated in the article, and the bus driver recognized the attackers as living near the area, there is no reason not to have made arrests by now.. except for the fact that they don't want to.

  11. europe is overrun by sewer rats. leave.

  12. Michael Louis Weissman says:

Neal Amsel There's a reason France has the world's third largest Jewish community. Little known that the Prime Minister of France before and after WW2 was a Jew: Leo Blum. Today, the most admired man in France is Jean-Jacques Goldman, another Jew. For many years, France was a good place for Jews to make their lives. When the last Jew leaves for Israel, North America, or even Germany, it will be the end of France as we've known it.

  13. Michael Louis Weissman says:

This is horrendous. What kind of mind sees attacking five-year old children as anything but criminal and barbaric? I'm expecting nothing but the leadership of Muslims and Arabs in Belgium, Brussels, and Europe should condemn this immediately. If they don't, they will be complicit. Truly disgusting.

  14. Rochel Ratner says:

Arabs, that's what kind of mind…

  15. Anonymous says:

Muslims should be exported back to the desert to vent their disgusting behavior on camels and goats.

  16. Liza Tilley says:

why would you want to inflict such things on those poor camels and goats. have some mercy.

  17. Michael Elofson says:

Will the Jews have to flee from Europe once again? The people of the Liberal-Left certainly do what they can to make it happen, enthusiastically supported in the media by a multitude of stupid and/or anti-Semitic actors (e.g. Emma Thompson) and musicians (e.g. Roger Waters).
Anti-Semitism appears in different guises; In the thirties the excuse was that Jewish Bankers sucked the lifeblood out of the ordinary German, today is Israel that sucks the lifeblood out of the Palestinians (read “Palestinian” Arabs). It’s disgusting.

  18. Simone Kessler says:

The same kind of people who think it's okay to slit the throat of a three-month old baby simply because she's Jewish, that's what kind of mind.

  19. Simone Kessler says:

I used to think like you, Ronny, but then I thought – run away? Hell no! Wait and do nothing? Also hell no!
Fight back? Hell yes! If the local police do nothing, organize armed escorts and if necessary, use deadly force.

  20. Michael Louis Weissman says:

Sylvie Schapira Of course I remember Dreyfus. And, Leo Frank. And suicide bombings in Israel. I remember it all. Several relatives of mine have spent extended periods in France, including Paris, without having experienced any anti-Semitism, direct or indirect. Nations are complex.

  21. Perhaps the little Jewish pre-schoolers were Zionists and THAT"s why they were attacked? Why jump to that old accusation of anti-semitism every time Jews are attacked? Anti-semitism is dead, people are simply anti-Israel

  22. Sissel Klungsøyr says:

That's a horrible argument. NOONE – absolutely NOONE – has the right to attack 5-6 year old children. Shame on you!

  23. Sissel Klungsøyr I did hope it would be clear I was being ironic. Please read it again.

  24. Sissel Klungsøyr says:

Leonie Lachmish OK – Then I apologize very much. But this story made me sick. The increasing antisemittism is so scary and we have to stand up against it.

  25. Zehava Taub says:

why don't the muslim go home to their desert!

  26. Chris Barnett I am not TRYING to say that anti-Zionism is anti-semitism, I am saying it: Anti-Zionism is anti-semitism. Jew-haters used to say "Go home to Palestine!" then they killed us; now they say "Get out of Palestine!" and wish they could kill us. Vive la difference!

  27. Arish Sahani says:

No one can beat the saudi war game.Use locals convert in each nation to destroy own nations, own race, own culture. Few convert to islam and the book followers who bow to saudi 25 times a day can't be stopped unless native throw these converts out of nation. These are new kind of foot soldiers for enemy. You can call them sleeper cells.
