The Olympics Games 2020 in Tokyo officially honored the memory of the Israeli victims of the 1972 terror attack at the Olympics in West Germany, as part of the main opening ceremony. This is the first time ever that the Israeli victims were mentioned and acknowledged as part of the main opening ceremony.
