IDF Source: Israel to Evacuate 1 million Lebanese in War on Hezbollah

Thursday, June 4th, 2015

The IDF would evacuate at least 1 million civilians in Lebanon 24 hours before going to war against Hezbollah, a military source told The Jerusalem Post in a report Thursday.

The source did not explain how the evacuation would take place and what damage Israel might incur in the first 24 hours of a massive missile barrage by Hezbollah on Israel.

The Iranian-backed party and armed with more than 100,000 missiles and is considered to have a bigger weapons stockpile than most countries in the world.

Hezbollah effectively used human shields in the 34-day Second Lebanon War in 2006 and recently was reported to have built an extensive system of underground bunkers and tunnels in dozens of villages in southern Lebanon.

The source told the Post that in this week’s national defense exercise, the Air Forces staged practice raids on targets that are hidden in civilian areas.

“If we have no choice, we have to evacuate 1 million, 1.5 million residents in Lebanon, and act,” the source told the newspaper. “Hezbollah should not plan to fire on us and try to kill our civilians, and expect that we would respond by acting according to standards it seems to think only exist here.”

Report: Lebanese Villages are Hezbollah Military Bases, Human Shields

Tuesday, May 12th, 2015

The Hezbollah terrorist organization is now using not only families – as does Hamas in Gaza – but entire villages as human shields in southern Lebanon.

The Iranian-backed Shiite terrorist organization has created an entire military structure in the nation across Israel’s northern border.

In the process, it has also placed its fellow Lebanese citizens directly into the path of the crossfire that will inevitably come – possibly with the next Hezbollah provocation, perhaps with a multi-site cross border raid and abduction attempt.

In any of those scenarios, the Israel Defense Force will certainly strike back at the source of the fire.

But in a stunning set of maps and aerial photography provided to The New York Times by Israeli military officials this week, it is clear Hezbollah has moved its military infrastructure into the villages of the innocents, and around their municipal boundaries.

To the naked eye, a common village on a hilltop in southern Lebanon near the border looks pretty much like any other.

But with enhanced Israeli military equipment, one can see a Hezbollah command post surrounded by anti-tank positions, underground tunnels, infantry positions, rocket launders and arms depots.

In short, each village comprises an entire military base par excellence, financed an equipped by Iran and Syria.

To date, Hezbollah has increased its arsenal to approximately 100,000 rockets and missiles of various ranges. At this point, both Hezbollah and Israel acknowledge the terror group can reach any point in Israel with its firepower.

Israel does not intend to allow its citizens to live as sitting ducks, an IDF official told NYT.

The interview with the prominent newspaper was, in effect, provided as a sort of international “red alert.” It is a warning to the world that Israel would like to see this issue placed on the world agenda, especially since it is precisely this phenomenon that was supposed to be prevented under the terms of the United Nations-brokered cease-fire agreement that ended the 2006 Second Lebanon War.

The UNIFIL (UN Interim Force in Lebanon) troops were to monitor such activities and – one would assume – find a way to prevent them from occurring.

In effect, a third Lebanon War will have been caused by the inability of the UN force to carry out its responsibilities – and of course, the unending violations of the cease-fire agreement by Hezbollah, and Lebanon, which allowed, aided and abetted the terror group in its mission.

“Where is the world?” asked former national security adviser Yaakov Amidror. Now a presence at the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies at Bar Ilan University, Amidror wondered, “Why does it not stop the buildup?”

Attack on Yemeni Refugees Makes Israel Look Like the Girl Scouts

Tuesday, March 31st, 2015

A Saudi-led air strike has killed at least 40 refugees in Yemen and wounded 200 others, but the coalition says Houthi terrorists were using humans as shields to cover their attacks.

Sound familiar?

A war crime is not necessarily a war crime if anyone other than Israel is defending itself against terrorists who violate the Geneva Convention by using human beings, including children, as protective shields.

The Reuters news agency quoted an unidentified humanitarian worker as saying that the airstrike hit a truck carrying Houthi militiamen near the camp’s entrance.

Foreign media have reported that the Saudi-led attack on the Yemeni camp without the usual immediate denunciation by the United Nations when Israel bombs terrorist targets.

But leave it to the Arabs to keep “Israeli war crimes” in the headlines.

PLO Executive Committee member Hanan Ashrawi, despite being one of the more intelligent members of the Palestinian Authority, accused Israel of war crimes on Monday because Jerusalem granted permission for the construction of 143 new apartments in Har Homa, located north of Bethlehem.

The project is nothing new, and the permission simply places a check mark next to another bureaucratic step in Israel’s convoluted process of building a house.

For Ashrawi, it was as if Israel had bombed a refugee camp. She said:

This latest development is an additional war crime as stipulated by the Rome Statute, and the occupation authorities will be held accountable by the International Criminal Court (ICC) and other venues for its continued aggression on the lands and resources of the state of Palestine.

As of tomorrow, April Fool’s Day, the Palestinian Authority officially becomes a member of the ICC, where it can try to sue Israel for killing civilians whom Hamas used as human  shields in last summer’s war in Gaza,.

Even Amnesty, in a report last week, has admitted that Hamas and other terrorist groups violated humanitarian law by “storing rockets and other munitions in civilian buildings – including UN schools – and [that it] launched attacks or stored munitions very near locations where hundreds of displaced civilians were taking shelter.”

If the Palestinian Authority wants to go to the ICC to sue Israel for bomb including terrorists and killing civilians hidden by them, then Saudi Arabia should be next in line for the attack on Yemen’s refugee camps.

The old “double standard” could be raised, arguing that Israel is guilty because it is Israel and Saudi Arabia is innocent because it is Saudi Arabia, but that is becoming harder for foreign media to justify in the wake of continued Palestinian Authority incitement and praise for terror.

The Palestinian Authority has not reacted to the bombing of the Yemeni camp by the Saudi-led force, to which Ramallah has given its blessing, for what it is worth.

ISIS Living High Life in Raqqa, Using Yazidi Females as Human Shields

Monday, September 22nd, 2014

Terrorists from the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) are preparing to defend areas they captured in northern Iraq after scores were killed last week in U.S. and French air strikes. The group has evacuated command-and-control centers in Mosul, Iraq and in Raqqa, Syria, according to a report posted by The Telegraph. They have also begun to use Yazidi women captives as human shields in other places, according to the report.

Raqqa is the informal “capital” of the ISIS “caliphate” and the site where the group has carried out three high-profile beheadings in recent weeks.

But it also turns out that in Raqqa, ISIS terrorists are still pretty much living the high life, when they are not busy with mass beheadings and capturing territory. It’s not a privilege they share with the locals, however.

The terrorists have taken over the governor’s ornate palace, and they are enjoying Western comforts brought to the palace by foreign fighters.

“Although there is a war on, Swiss chocolate is very popular with them,” one resident observed. “And you see some shops reserving Western food for the jihadists. I know that one of them asked a store to get an iPhone 6 for him. It cost $2,500 and was brought in from dealers in Turkey.”

Meanwhile, up to 100,000 Kurds and other local residents in the northern city of Kobane have fled to the Turkish border, where at least 70,000 had made it across by Monday morning in advance of a takeover of the city by ISIS.

Kurds who were moving in the other direction, however, to fight against ISIS, were equally concerned about the air strikes – not wanting to become targets themselves.

Abu Mohammed, a local activist quoted by the National Post and who runs the “Raqqa is being slaughtered silently” website, said, “People are afraid of the air strikes, that they might be used as human shields or be bombed.

“Many people fled to the countryside or to Turkey… When small planes for reconnaissance appear, the jihadists hide. They even lock the doors of their headquarters. They also moved their families, their women and children, outside Raqqa.”

Abu Mohammed added that locals don’t trust America any more than they trust ISIS. “If the U.S. is really against ISIS why did they leave them all that time, and why did they turna blind eye to Bashar al-Assad? He is a terrorist who is bombing us,” he asked.

Israel Ambassador to UN Demands Action Against Hamas

Thursday, August 28th, 2014

Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Ron Prosor, has demanded the world body take action against Hamas for the terror group’s clear violations against international humanitarian law.

“Despite the fact that the UN has recognized the war crimes committed by Hamas during the fighting, nothing has been done about the matter,” he said in a letter sent to the UN Security Council and Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. The letter included a detailed report of terrorist artillery and missile fire that emanated from civilian population centers in Gaza during Operation Protective Edge.

“I expect the Security Council to condemn with a clear voice the tactics of Hamas,” he wrote, according to the Hebrew-language NRG news site. “The Council cannot be silent in light of the use by Hamas of Gaza civilians as human shields.”

The Palestinian Authority unity government led by Ramallah-based PLO Chairman and Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas, which includes Hamas, has demanded the UN Security Council set a deadline for Israel to withdraw from all territory won in the 1967 Six Day War, including parts of its capital restored to the nation during that defensive conflict. Failing that, Abbas has vowed to charge Israel with war crimes in the International Criminal Court (ICC) at The Hague.

IDF Officer Reports from the Gaza Front (Video)

Saturday, August 23rd, 2014

Hamas terrorists “shot at us from mosques, schools and of course from civilian houses,” reports Lt. Adam Landau.

“In the end, if they shoot at you from a mosque, as difficult as it is, you don’t have an option…. And it’s not easy to shoot at a mosque. It’s important for a lot of people. It’s like a synagogue, but you get in a situation where you have to return fire to the mosques because that is where the terrorists are firing from.

You see a family’s house, and you see the clothing hanging outside [and] girls’ dresses waving in the wind, and behind all of this is a terrorist holding an AK-47 shooting at you.

You see how Hamas exploits children… We started to look for a terrorist who we knew was in a specific house. Suddenly, a small boy appeared. The terrorist grabbed him and escaped with him. Just because a terrorist enter a civilian does not give him immunity. On the other hand, we have to think very carefully before we act because no one wants to injure innocent civilians, especially women and children. It makes it very difficult to complete your goal of eliminating a terrorists because he is hugging a small child…It is not our decision. The terrorists took the decision and put it in hour hands.

Why Do Children Die In Gaza & Why Should We Care?

Sunday, August 17th, 2014

There are two sides to this conflict, one side is trying as hard as it can NOT to target or injure innocent civilians and the other is targeting ONLY innocent civilians. One side has spent $Billions on developing defense systems to keep their citizens safe while the other has spent $Billions on developing offensive weapons and actually puts their citizens in danger.

I am a right wing religious Jewish settler and I HATE seeing pictures of kids in Gaza who are dying or suffering because of this war. I also HATE seeing the poor kids being slaughtered in Syria and in Iraq. In fact I hate seeing any innocent people paying the price of war.

Never do I consider the death of a child or an innocent person something to celebrate and it is this human compassion that Hamas is banking on.

The Israel Arab conflict is a culture war and has nothing to do with land. Take a look at the map below, how can you honestly believe this is about Jewish occupation of Arab land?

The Muslim side has spent years indoctrinating the young to hate and this hate as mentioned in the video below, has nothing to do with Zionism.Instead of bringing up children with the hope and knowledge on how to build their own society, they focus their efforts on teaching children how to destroy another people’s society.

The indoctrination of kids does not end with just TV shows. Hamas runs day camps that brainwash their young that the biggest act of heroism is to…die!

Does this mean Israel can kill 450 children? First of all, I am disgusted by the question. The number of children dead is a perversion of morality. Any child killed in war, even one! is a tragedy. Is Israel aiming for children? Never in the history of Israel have we EVER targeted innocent people and certainly not children! This is truly heartbreaking to see.

How Come So Many Children Are Dying In Gaza? There have 2,000 casualties (based on Hamas numbers)in Gaza with a reported 450 being children. These numbers are not confirmed and according to a long history of exaggerated reports from Arab terrorists in the past, I am not sure I trust this number.

In any case why are ANY children dying in Gaza? Do Muslims Terrorist Groups Use Human Shields? There is a long history of Islamic groups using women and children as shields while they attack their enemies. They know that Israel is very sensitive when it comes innocent casualties.

Don’t they have ANY mercy on their kids?

When a Siren in Israel is sounded, parents rush their kids to bomb shelters and cover them with their own bodies to keep them safe.

You will NEVER see this scene in Israel! Or This! And if there is a security threat to a specific area, you will not see Jewish parents running to that area with their kids in order to put them in danger. This is just horrible!

Israel by no means aims or targets innocent civilians and certainly not children. Hamas however understands just how much we sanctify life and is using their own people as human shields knowing that the more dead, the more Israel is blamed. Here are 3 short videos that were published when the reporters were no longer in danger and far away from Gaza.
