Miami Beach Chabad House Torah Studies Catalog

Chabad House in Miami Beach has released its Torah Studies catalog of classes for the first season of the 2013 academic year. All classes will be held at The Chabad House, 669 North Lincoln Lane, Miami Beach. The sessions are open to men and women.

Renowned Chazzan, Choir At Chabad/South Broward Selichos

At 11 p.m., 770 Mashpia Reb Shlomo Zarchi lead the traditional farbrengen that customarily precedes Selichos. At 1:15 a.m., Rabbi Yossy Lebovics, principal of the Chaya Aydel Seminary, lead the Selichos service accompanied by Sholom, Mendel and Dovid of the Lebovics Boys Choir.

A double Hachnasas Sefer Torah celebration, recently held at Shaarei Torah of Los Angeles, began with the kesivas osios at the home of Regina Rechnitz, the Rechnitz family matriarch. The writing of the final letters was followed by a large procession through the streets of Los Angeles to the Shaarei Torah shul, home of the new Sifrei Torah.
