  2. So you’re saying the Brooklyn Bridge is worth 1.2 trillion dollars? And if we don’t sell, (actually give) it to China to satisfy our debt, China will start a nuclear war with the US? How stupid can you possibly be? This is the most unbelievably dumb article!

  4. Actually, Japan bombed Pearl Harbor with our own scrap metal, if I have the story straight.

  5. Japan bombed Pearl Harbor because the US stopped selling it scrap metal and steel and oil in 1940 which it needed to carry on aggression in the East. We then started selling to China which angered Japan because it wanted to continue committing atrocities there and elsewhere. Japan wanted the US out of the way and they thought they could cripple us by knocking out the fleet and planes in Pearl Harbor while they invaded and took over the Philippines. We didn’t bomb Japan because they owed money to the US. Japan was given plenty of notice to surrender before we dropped the first nuclear bomb. They wouldn’t surrender so we dropped the first, even after that they didn’t surrender, so we dropped the second. After the second bomb they got the message.
