The 140 participants on the “Remember Hebron!" tour were English speakers from places like Jerusalem, Ra’anana, Tel Aviv, and Modi’in. For 50 shekels (45 for Jerusalemites) they got to take a luxury bus for a tour of Hebron organized by Likud Anglos and Young Likud, and give "a show of support for the Jewish community of Hebron and Jewish settlement in all the Land of Israel!" There was no mention of the fact that Likud Prime Minister Netanyahu in 1997 delivered most of Hebron into the hands of the PLO.

Iran was elected to a top post on the UN Arms Trade Treaty conference, UN Watch revealed on Sunday. The Geneva-based human rights group is calling on UN chief Ban Ki-moon, who addressed the conference on the same day, to condemn the selection of the Tehran regime.

President Barack Obama has invited his newly elected Egyptian counterpart Mohamed Morsi to visit the US for an official visit in September. Deputy Secretary of State William Perez said he delivered this message during his meetings with Morsi on Sunday. As the deadline for the renewal of the Tal Law approaches and tens of thousands of people rallied to demand that all citizens of Israel perform national service, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu convened a meeting of the Likud Knesset faction to discuss ways to include Hareidim in national and military service. With his party in agreement, the prime minister is on his way to drafting new legislation.
